A cheap unfinished hotel with poor service and customer service. No one at reception when I arrived. Elevators don't work. Stairs to the 5th floor. Keys don't work. Back to reception. Key card is reset, back up 5 flights of stairs with baggage. Key card still only works 50% of the time. Go in room, wanna watch the Super Bowl. TV doesn't work. Back down to reception and want a new room. Get a bigger room. King bed with 3 small throw sized cushions that you would see on couch. Go in the bathroom and there is ONE towel. No facecloth, no hand towel. It says they provide breakfast. They don't. They provide some cold food including cold toast. There is a restaurant on site that could provide a real breakfast, but they're too cheap to do that. Spoke to manager upon check out and got the standard response: I paid via a 3rd party so nothing can be done. Have you ever heard of cash? Instead actually doing something he deferred on an upgrade if I ever come back (I won't) and maybe or maybe not it will be honoured. So, nothing will be done about any of my complaints. There are other hotels on the same street; Stay there.

I booked this hotel because of the price and it is close to the airport. I read very mixed reviews which caused me concern so when I checked in I asked to see the room I would be in. The front desk staff were very polite and professional, the lobby was clean and bright and when they showed me the room it was newly renovated on the 6th floor. New TV and appliances, New Bed Mattress and Pillows and all new Bathroom fixtures. The room was Very Clean and Quiet. I have traveled the world over the past 40 years and this is an excellent Hotel to spend a few nights in Calgary. I recommend this Hotel for the Price and location.

Grossly unclean bathroom, someone's leftover toothpaste on the faucet, tub surround had not been cleaned (ever???) Hard to see in the pictures but it was not pleasant. I checked the bed linens and they seemed fine, tired as I was, I couldn't be bothered to ask for another room. I sent an email to management describing the gross bathroom but with no reply or acknowledgement to do better, I will never recommend this budget hotel or stay again. Hotel management obviously doesn't care to do better, so try somewhere else as there are other choices in the area.

One of my worst experience, stay away!!! Stayed for 3 nights from 31st Oct to 3rd Nov. One of worst hotel experience of my life. 1- Hotel location is central, close to number of restaurants. However there are tons of other hotels in the same vicinity 2- Room smells extremely bad, couldn't figure out what was the cause of the smell, however, not a welcoming first experience 3- My room was supposed to be an upgrade, however the bed had no side tables, no head board. All we had was a metal frame, box spring and mattress. Pillows were extremely small and folded. Had to open them up to make it better 4- Everything in the room was falling apart. The two lamps were almost pass their life, the closet had no door. There was no extra light in the room, apart from the two lamps 5- the washroom was outdated, tub was dirty and worn out. Basic toiletries were provided, however had to ask everyday for them 6- right in front of the bed, there were fishy wires hanging out. Looked like they have removed the fire alarm. I had to cover it it tissue as was not feeling well with fishy wires 7- room had microwave, tv, fridge, iron board and iron. Also had basic coffee machine Overall I would rate it 4/10. I would never recommend anyone to stay at this place. I made the mistake, but should have paid 20-30 dollars extra per day to have a piece of mind

Had to test it myself with those 1 star review. It was a breeze on check in, two elevators available, rooms clean and newly renovated. There was an Indian resto which had a private event so I am not able to comment. Many hotel customers from Journey Men, Ontario car plates, regular tourists, teenage couples. I give it 5 star on my money's worth. Those giving 1 star may be comparing it to their own place. One thing, the carpet in the elevator needs vacuuming.
